Two Big Losses... Prayers needed

Two Big Losses - Prayers are Needed.

Hello Everyone,
We are currently working on a few updates for you, which should be complete soon. However we are in need of some intense prayers.  Our GAMAS Team has suffered 2 big losses in just 1 day.  I will share the quick version right now and we will give a bigger report with pictures later on when things settle down and we have all the information.

On February 19 Christopher Matthews our sole teacher at the Kaikan Bible School was hiking with his class and fell from the mountain near Arau. He suffered a head injury and died.  Later that day our pilot was asked to carry his body to Georgetown to prepare him for transport to the USA. He has left behind his new wife of just 8 months and 2 daughters.  Please pray for them.  Our Pilot Lincoln arrived late in the afternoon and after getting permission to fly into the night took off for Georgetown with the body and a police officer from Kaikan.  He was to land about 6:45pm where one of our other pilots was waiting to assist him.  However he never made it.  Around 6:30pm he sent out a "May Day" and crashed.  The tower at Timnari International Airport heard the call and started to try to contact him. He was able to contact us and a search and rescue team went for him. However, since it was swampy jungle around where he crashed it took a while to get them. Lincoln fn the Police man rescued just before midnight. Lincoln had minor injuries to the head and is being monitored and the Police officer Mark we believe broke his leg, however this is not confirmed. Sadly they had to leave the body over night in the plane.

This morning February 20 Chris left for Georgetown to assist our other pilot to recover the body of the missionary friend. Guyana Civil Aviation (GCAA) wants to perform an investigation of the crash and thus has decided to have the Guyana Military extract the body for us. Chris will wait for the GCAA to finish their investigation and then complete his own. He wants to know what went wrong and how our pilots can fly more safely in the future.

My friends, the devil is working overtime here in Guyana. We solicite your prayers for safety for our whole team.  The time is short and Jesus is coming.  We must work a little while longer.  We need strength from our Heavenly Father. Thank you for joining us in this prayer.

We also pray for you that you will make the time to develop a relationship with God. One of deep love for Him as He already is deeply in love with you.  Search your hearts and be cleansed from your sins. Let Him develop in you His character trait of Love for Him and others. Then live in peace that you will soon see the most loving being.  Jesus is waiting to give you a hug when he returns for all of us.  Are you ready?

Thanks for your prayers. We will send out a more detailed account later on.  Feel free to see some of the articles on my Facebook page that I have shared.

Blessings and Prayers for you all
Chris & Crystal Eno and Family

Blessings:
1. All people on board the airplane are safe and have minor injuries.
